Dienstagswelt :: Weekly Electronics

Dienstagswelt is a weekly event series presenting a wide range of artists playing strictly electronic music - live and/or as DJs. Berlin's most recognized electronic music event on a tueasday with a nice mixture of local and international audience. The site is located in a former industrial complex in Friedrichshain [S/U Warschauer Str.] - picking up the rare charme of early rave venues and combining it with the contemporary and typical Berlin party flavor.

    BarBitchesBall 2012 :: VIP Event & Branchenball

    Einen Arbeitsplatz am Tresen oder hinter den Plattentellern eines Berliner Clubs assoziiert man landläufig mit Party pur. Doch diese Jobs setzen ein hohes Maß an Selbstdisziplin voraus und sind mitunter sehr schweisstreibend. Für all jene Barkeeper, das Garderoben- und Kassenpersonal, Türleute, Runner und Veranstaltungstechniker - sowie den Künstlern und den kaufmännischen Mitarbeitern der Clubs wird der BAR BITCHES BALL als Branchenevent der Clubcommission Berlin durchgeführt.

    Fast jeder erfolgreiche Unternehmer hat seine Lehrjahre durch einen Job hinter den Tresen verdient. Viele finden darin auch ihre Berufung und machen Berlin zu der Clubmetropole, die weltweit einzigartig ist. Knapp 10.000 Menschen finden aktuell im Berliner Nachtleben einen sozailversicherungspflichtigen oder freiberuflichen Job - hinter Bars und Mischpulten, in der Organisation, der Buchhaltung, an den Türen und in der Werbung.Im Jahr 2012 steht die Gründung des Musikboards 2020 im Mittelpunkt des vorgelagerten VIP Events. Im Abschluss spielen auf 2 Floors:
    Alle Farben, Demir & Seymen feat CCCat, Die gefundenen Fresse, Twitchblades, Hammer & Zirkel, Nielebock & Leevey sowie Künstler des Audiolith-Sublabels 'Stiff Little Spinners' und zahlreiche weitere DJs.

    Frequen.C One :: Dub Festival

    The Frequen.C. One Festival is dedicated to Electronic Dub in verious styles. With several live acts, supported by Soundsystems and Djs, this was our first attempt to present a very urban Dub sound, screwed together in the dark cellars of rehearsal rooms and smokey vodka bars.

    Mainly influenced by the French Dub school, this dark rough and hard live sound is quite far away from the dubby roots which once came from Jamaica or Great Britain. To still include this amazing musical heritage into the festival concept, we invited a sound system to integrate 40 years of Dub history in one set. With the Dubstep DJ performing at the end of the show we give a reference to contemporary club culture, where nowadays Dubstep is a dominant musical force.

    Nachtschatten :: Dubstep, Drum'n'Bass & Urban Sounds

    Nachtschatten (wich is a genus name of plants like belladonna, jimson weed and other interesting crops) is a non-frequent event series of Dubstep, Drum'n'Bass & Urban music. We have chosen the term Urban to indicate that sound might also be influenced by Techno, Breakbeats, Punk, Hardcore and other musical ideas which came out of the urban enviroment.

    Amongst several other we had presented artists like Pisu [Musica Vermella / Barcelona], Kid Atari [Stealth Departement], Prince Kong [Ghetto Quietly / Dublin], Ignite [Trust In Music], Jazzsteppa [Jarring Effects / London, Berlin], Janoshi [Schattenelektronik], Trece [Badmood / Interzone], DubRokk [Bass.exe], Al-Haca Soundsystem [Meta Polyp], Flowpro [Plainaudio], Detrend City Rockers [Malavida Music] and more.

    The event series is following a small series of events called "Interzone" (as a reference to the experiments of W.S. Burroughs) where we presented Dubstep & Drum'n'Bass only.
